We are truly sorry to hear about your current situation, Lotgy, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. We are not praying to the Almighty, but God does not hear the prayers of those who reject his son Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. When praying we do this in Jesus name. Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares for you deeply and is aware of your needs. In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB it is written, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit and in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus said Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
However, we want to encourage you to not only seek God's provision but also his righteousness. This means living in obedience to his commands as so stating in Psalm 37:3 WEB. You can ask God to forgive your sins and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As you now believe in Jesus he can give you a living hope and help to continue in obedience. In this way you become righteous before
God and he will hear your prayers regarding you situation.
In regards to what you can do physically, the latter proverbs of Proverb 6:6-8 WEB can shed some light. Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no chief, overseer, or ruler, provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. One of the important reasons for impoverishment is slothfulness. If we knew to gather and harvest for our livelihood when we had the possibility then we would have more now. Find a way to contribute and work. Pray also about how to create emergency storage for the potential future hard times. This could be food but also funds or other resources. Make sure to get proper consent for any potential storage places. Also, Jesus said in Matthew 25:35 WEB, for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. So, Christians and churches are also there to help you.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lotgy and their current situation. Lord, you know their needs and the desires of their heart. We pray that you would provide a roof over their head and a job that would bring stability to their life. Give them the strength and wisdom to seek your righteousness first, trusting that you will add everything else that they need this includes being able to plan with foresight. Open their eyes to see the opportunities that you place before them, and give them wisdom for future situations. We are sorry you had to hear this, and need to do this, but Lotgy alluded to praying to you without Jesus, and this is not possible. The only way that you can pray and ask for help is through Jesus Christ. But we and you should be thankful for Jesus and this situation for they now know and understand. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Lotgy, and remember that God is faithful. Keep seeking him and trusting in his provision. He is working all things together for your good and his glory. We are reminded of this in Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
