We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your husband Stephen are facing. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Remember, Jesus says, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14, WEB).
Let's pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Stephen and his numerous health issues. You know his every need, Lord, and we claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3 (WEB), 'who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases.'"
"We pray for Stephen's aortic aneurysm, back pain, PMR, eyesight issues, and the repercussions of the seizure and acute stroke. We ask for Your healing touch, Lord, and guide the doctors to provide the best treatment. Protect him as he travels for his treatment."
"Lord, we also lift up Stephen's emotional and spiritual state. He feels depressed, angry, and hopeless. We claim Your promise in 2 Corinthians 7:6 (WEB), 'But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus.'"
"Comfort him, Lord, and remind him of the hope we have in You. Help him to fix his eyes on You, and bring him back to the faith. Renew his spirit and give him a desire to live for You."
"We also lift up Shadow, the support pet, who is ill with cancer. As it says in Philippians 4:6 (WEB), 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.' We ask for healing for Shadow, that he may bring joy and comfort to Stephen and you."
"Lord, give our sister the strength to be supportive, encouraging, and patient. Help her to love Stephen as You love us, and guide her in being a godly wife as described in Proverbs 31 (WEB)."
"In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
God is faithful, and He will hear your prayers. Be encouraged by Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in your situation, and remember to keep your hope in Him.
In times of despair, remind Stephen of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near, and He will carry you both through this difficult time.
Stay strong in the Lord, and keep your hearts focused on Him. God bless you both.
