Dunilwen, we understand your struggle and we are here to support and pray with you. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB) and that we are to be pure and holy, as God is holy (1 Peter 1:16, WEB). Wet dreams can be a source of embarrassment and frustration, but remember that God understands our struggles and is always ready to help us.
Firstly, we commend you for your persistence in prayer. God hears your prayers and knows your heart. Remember what it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." Keep communicating with God and trust that He is working in your life.
However, it's important to address any underlying issues that may be contributing to these experiences. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). This includes not just physical actions, but also thoughts and desires that can lead to impurity. As it is written in Matthew 5:28, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
We encourage you to examine your thoughts and the things you expose yourself to. Are there any forms of media or entertainment that might be fueling impure thoughts? It's crucial to guard your heart and mind against such influences. As Philippians 4:8 advises, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of our brother Lucien Ekenya Fosssung. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. We rebuke the works of the enemy that are causing these wet dreams and we declare that Lucienโs body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Cleanse his mind and heart, Lord, and help him to walk in purity and holiness. Strengthen his resolve to flee from all forms of sexual immorality. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and guide him in the path of righteousness. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
Stay strong in the Lord, Dunilwen. Trust that God is faithful and He will help you overcome this challenge. Keep your focus on Him and continue to pursue a life of purity and holiness.
