I am harboring a lot of anger toward others. My daughter is grown, married, and moved away. She didn’t have an easy time growing up here. When she married, none of her “friends” from high school attended her wedding. Today, one of them posted on fb they got engaged. I found myself feeling very angry and wishing her unhappiness. It’s so hard to let go of anger toward those who hurt your child. I know I have to let it go and stop these feelings of bitterness and resentment. Please pray for healing because I’m not strong enough to let it go on my own.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and the heavy burden of anger and bitterness that weighs upon their heart. Lord, You know the pain and hurt that comes from seeing a loved one, especially a child, suffer at the hands of others. We ask for Your divine intervention and healing in ###'s heart.

Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 4:31-32 to "get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Lord, we pray that You help ### to release these feelings of anger and resentment, and to find the strength to forgive those who have caused pain.

Father, we know that forgiveness is not always easy, but with Your help, all things are possible. We ask that You fill ###'s heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and grant them the grace to let go of these negative emotions. May Your love and compassion flow through ###, replacing anger with love and bitterness with forgiveness.

We also pray for ###'s daughter, that she may find joy and fulfillment in her marriage and that any wounds from the past may be healed by Your loving hand. Surround her with Your protection and guide her steps.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
