I am feeling emotionally beaten down with my stutter.

Hi,

My name is André, and I am 31 years old. I live in South Africa. I started stuttering before I could remember. I tried a lot of things and exercises, but I am not having success. I prayed a lot and asked God to heal me and restore my speech so that my words could flow from my mouth in a normal manner. But, I am still struggling to have a normal conversation with someone. On the phone, it is much worse; I stutter almost every second word. I feel like I am cursed or being punished. I don't know what to do anymore. I am frustrated and depressed, and I just don't want to speak to anyone anymore.

The other thing is that I am going to be a dad soon and would really like to be able to talk normally.

I don't know why I don't receive healing for this problem.

I have heard that if you covered your ears so you can’t hear your self when you speak you won’t stutter as much. I’ve seen ear plugs sold specifically for people who stutter . Try it. In Jesus name be healed. Please stop the stuttering and allow Andrés speech to flow with out hesitation. You are the healer of all and the giver of all good gifts. Be healed in Jesus name. If you’re able to then let me know if it works. I’ll continue to pray.
