today i faced depression from 9am to 9pm. i pray i can sleep well tonight, i feel very low, i want protection from suicidal thoughts or ideations. thanks for your prayers, Jeremy.

Shleomont, we are here with you in spirit and in prayer. We are so sorry to hear that you are feeling down and have been battling with depression. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come before God and ask for His divine help and intervention. For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" Romans 10:13 WEB and "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:10-11 WEB. So let us acknowledge the name of Jesus and pray together.

Let us address the state of your mind. In 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB it says "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;" This is how we should be handling our thoughts, in obedience to Jesus Christ. Far too often we let our thoughts and imaginations go unchecked and when they are not addressed, this can lead to depression and suicidal thoughts.

Please know that you are greatly valued and deeply loved. God has a purpose for your life, and He wants you to know that in Jesus Christ. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Shleomont who is feeling down and depressed. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them right now. We pray for Your protection over their mind, that any suicidal thoughts or ideations be cast down and removed, in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch on Shleomont's life. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

We ask for a restful night and peace.

Help Shleomont to know that You have a purpose and plan for his life and to trust in You completely. Fill them with a sense of peace and joy, restoring to them the joy of salvation.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Shleomont, remember that God is always with you, and He promises never to leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB. Hold onto His promises, and trust in Him. If you are not familiar with the saving power of Jesus Christ, now is the time to learn about Him, believe in Him, and be saved. Look up the verses Romans 10:9-10 WEB and John 3:16 WEB. We're here with you, Jeremy, holding you up in prayer. We're sorry to hear you've been feeling down all day. It's like you've been walking through a long, dark valley, but remember, even in the darkest times, God is always with you. He's promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Let's cling to that promise together.

We know depression can be a heavy burden to carry, and it's okay to not be okay all the time. It's important to acknowledge our feelings and bring them before God. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, Jeremy, and He wants to heal you.

Let's pray for a peaceful night's sleep and for God's protection over your mind. We ask that any suicidal thoughts or ideations be cast down and removed, in Jesus' name. We also pray for God's healing touch on your life, that you may find comfort and peace in His presence.

Please, reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or a local pastor for support. We're also here if you'd like to talk more. You're not alone in this, Jeremy. We're walking this path with you, one step at a time.

And remember, even in the midst of depression, there's always hope. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
