I am evil in my heart. I will lie, cheat, steal money and then blame the person who points it out. I ask for prayer because I don't know why God made me if He knew I would turn out this way. I repented and asked for a clean heart, but I keep getting reminded that I am a liar, thief, and evil to my core. All I can do is say, "Yes, I am." How can I get past this?

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain in ###'s heart. Your Word says in Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." We ask that You would cleanse ###'s heart and renew their spirit.

Father, we acknowledge that we all fall short and are in need of Your grace and mercy. Your Word in 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray that ### would feel Your forgiveness and cleansing power.

Lord, help ### to understand that Your love is unconditional and that You have a purpose for their life. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." May ### find hope and purpose in You.

We ask for the strength and guidance of the Holy Spirit to overcome the temptations and struggles that ### faces. In Romans 8:1, it is written, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Help ### to walk in the freedom and newness of life that You offer.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
