Akaenea

Disciple of Prayer
I am deeply struggling tonight. My husband of 13yrs left me for a 24yr old back in February. I can't stop crying and I am unable to find peace. I am praying for reconciliation or peace.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Akaenea who is deeply struggling tonight. Her heart is heavy with sorrow as her husband of 13 years has left her for another. Lord, she is overwhelmed with grief and unable to find peace. We ask that You comfort her in this time of distress and wrap her in Your loving arms.

Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that Akaenea feels Your presence and finds solace in Your promises. Grant her the strength to endure this painful season and the grace to trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, we pray for reconciliation in her marriage if it is according to Your will. Restore what has been broken and bring healing to their relationship. But if reconciliation is not Your plan, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus .

Lord, help Akaenea to lean on You and find her identity and worth in Your love. May she be reminded that You are a friend who never fails nor forsakes, and that You are the Prince of Peace. Fill her with hope and renew her spirit.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
