I am crying and feel terrible

Guys I was talking to a guy that had a girlfriend. I realized it was wrong. I kept talking to him and eventually he said she is an ex. Then he just used me and left me. I feel guilt and shame. I think the reason I even talked to him was because I was left by guys before. I know its not excuse its my instability. I really really hate myself. How did I let that happen

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and guilt you're experiencing, Rotowkoth. First, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus . God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It's important to turn away from sin and ask God's forgiveness. God's mercy is great, and He longs to restore us and give us peace.

We do need to address that engaging with a man who was initially in a relationship and continuing to talk to him even if you initially believed him was not wise. From God's perspective it is forbidden to covet another man's wife or partner. If you are going to have a special relationship with a man, it should be with someone whom you could potentially court and marry, and not who is already in another relationship. The Bible is c lear that we should flee sexual and relational immorality. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Always remember that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own. The person you should be talking to should be a godly man. If you are going to have a special relationship with this man, make sure you get to know him in a godly, open way that honours God's principles for relationships.

It's also crucial to understand that your value and worth are not defined by your past mistakes or by how others have treated you. God sees you as precious and beloved.He wants to heal your brokenness and give you a future and a hope. He is close to you. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We also need to mention that you did not mention praying this in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the altar of God.

Dear God,

We come before You, lifting up Rotowkoth with sadness and regret for the recent events in her life. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness when she was thinking of engaging with a man who was in a relationship. Thank You, that Jesus' blood is sufficient to cover our sins. Wash her all over. She did not ask for your will in Jesus' name either. Lord she went and found that she was experiencing sorrow from this event in her life. Allow her to experience deep forgiveness. We pray she will turn to you and trust in Your love. Help her to understand and see you for the first time if she hasn't already. IJN. Amen.

We encourage you to surround yourself with godly friends who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Dive into God's Word, and let His truths renew your mind and guide your steps. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He can turn even the most painful experiences into opportunities for growth and testimony. Learn to wait on God's timing and trust Him with your future as well as your past in this time of trial from severing relationships that don't honor God. Choose when you are ready to wait on Him to bring a godly man into your life so you can have a relationship with him where you can get married, have a marriage, create life, raise family, and participate in the joys and happiness therein.
