Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend who is battling with GERD, gas reflux, and a hiatal hernia. Lord, we lift up their chest and esophagus to you, knowing that you are the ultimate healer. Your word says in Psalm 103:3, "He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We ask for your healing touch to be upon their body, bringing relief from the discomfort and pain they are experiencing.
Lord, we pray for their breathing to be restored to normal, free from any restrictions or difficulties. Your word reminds us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." We ask that you deliver our friend from the fear and anxiety that comes with these health challenges. Fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we also lift up their fear of vomiting and the toxins they believe are trapped inside their body. Your word assures us in Psalm 34:4, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." We ask that you release them from the grip of this fear and replace it with your perfect love that casts out all fear, as mentioned in 1 John 4:18.
Lord, we rebuke any oppression of sickness and disease that may be affecting our friend's life and mortal body. Your word declares in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed." We claim the healing power of Jesus' sacrifice over their body, releasing them from any bondage of sickness.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, restoration, and freedom from all these ailments. May your peace flood their heart and mind, and may they experience your loving presence in the midst of their struggles. We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. Amen.
