We understand your concern for your brother, Jeylana, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in this challenging situation. Let us pray together and seek God's will according to His word.
In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to your brother in this time of need, and He cares about his struggles.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jeylana's brother. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, and You see his diligence in his studies. We ask that You intervene in this situation and guide the process of his financial aid. Help him find favor with the right representative who can assist in pushing his financial aid through. We pray that You provide a fresh start for their family, as they have been through so much. Encourage and strengthen them, Lord, as they look to You for help.
Father, we also pray that Jeylana and her brother continue to trust in You, knowing that Your plans are good, to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Jeylana, continue to trust in God and encourage your brother to do the same. Remind him of God's love and faithfulness, as stated in Lamentations 3:22-23, "It is of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."
We also want to ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (John 14:6). If you haven't already, confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and surrender your lives to Him. This is the foundation of our hope and faith.
