Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention and guidance. Lord, we lift up this marriage to You, asking that You bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." We pray that this husband will come to understand the depth of this command and turn away from behaviors that dishonor his marriage vows.
Father, we ask that You convict his heart and guide him to do the right thing. Help him to resist temptation and to seek fulfillment and attention in a godly manner. We pray that he will be transformed by the renewing of his mind, as Romans 12:2 says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Lord, we also lift up this dear wife who is struggling with depression and anxiety due to her husband's actions. We ask that You provide her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, surround this couple with Your love and wisdom. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to seek counseling if needed. Strengthen their bond and help them to rebuild trust. We pray that You will be the center of their marriage, guiding them in every step they take.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
