Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our dear brother or sister who is facing the imminent loss of their home. Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19 that "my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are our Provider and Sustainer.
Father, we lift up this family, including the grandkids and daughter, who are relying on Your divine intervention. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon them as they go to court today. Grant them favor in the eyes of the judge and all those involved. Your Word in Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases." We pray that You would turn the hearts of those in authority toward compassion and understanding.
Lord, we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are with them every step of the way. Strengthen their faith and give them the courage to face this trial, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for their lives. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.
