What are you hoping to keep out? Dogs? Kangaroos? etc Is a timber fence? Hardwood posts will last for approximately ### years, the corners will need stays to keep the post standing when adding wire strain. I am smiling - what if you are seeking to enclose a house yard? Think of the purpose for the fence. Look at what others are doing to build effective fencing. Look at materials and the life and maintenance of the same.
