We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles faced. Let us remember that God is our ultimate provider and that He cares for us deeply. In the face of financial struggles, we are reminded of Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
Firstly, let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this person in financial need. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would provide for all needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Grant wisdom to make sound decisions and the courage to face each day with hope. Open up opportunities for growth and stability, and surround him/her with a supportive community of family and friends. Remind us all that You are always by our side, and that we are not alone in our journeys. Help us to trust in Your divine plan, and to keep faith strong in the face of challenges. Help us to emerge from these trials with newfound resilience and gratitude, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We also take this opportunity to encourage with these words from the Apostle Paul,
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 WEB.
It is important to seek God's will in all things, including financial decisions. We advise to be wise stewards of the resources God has provided, and to seek His guidance in all financial matters. We also encourage reaching out to the local church or Christian community for support and guidance. They may have resources or advice tailored to the specific situation.
Lastly, we want to gently remind that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus Himself said,
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB.
If this person has not already, we strongly encourage to put faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. It is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 WEB.
