Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. We lift up Anonymous, a student preparing to operate a case tomorrow. Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom to be upon this student. Your Word tells us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask of You, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to them. We claim this promise for Anonymous, asking that You fill this student with the knowledge and understanding needed to perform well for the patient and to answer the questions posed by preceptors accurately.
Father, we know that You are the source of all wisdom and understanding. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us that "the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." We pray that You would open Anonymous's mind to comprehend the material being reviewed and to retain the information necessary for this important task. Grant clarity of thought and a calm spirit, that the student may work with confidence and competence.
Lord, we also lift up the feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt that Anonymous is experiencing. We know that these feelings can be overwhelming, but we also know that You are greater than our hearts and You know everything (1 John 3:20). We pray that You would remind Anonymous of their worth and capability in You. Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." May this truth be a source of encouragement and strength.
We ask for Your favor to be upon Anonymous, that the student may find favor in the eyes of preceptors and colleagues. We pray for a successful outcome for the patient, and that through this experience, Your name may be glorified.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect plan and timing. We place Anonymous in Your hands, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the ultimate source of all wisdom and knowledge. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
