I am a compulsive gambler annd have been for 7 years. I have tried to overcome this with no success for the past two years. I would like to request prayer for this sickness of addiction to be removed from my life as I no longer desire to continue living this way. I want to be free from this addiction as it makes me really sick.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with a compulsive gambling addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a sickness that can consume and control a person's life. We lift up our friend to you, knowing that you are a God of deliverance and freedom.

In your great wisdom, you have the power to break the chains of addiction and set the captives free. We pray that you would intervene in our friend's life and remove this sickness of addiction from their life. Give them the strength and determination to overcome this struggle and to walk in the freedom that you have promised.

Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon our friend's mind, body, and spirit. Renew their mind and transform their desires, replacing the urge to gamble with a desire for a life of purpose and fulfillment in you. Help them to find healthy outlets for their time and energy, and surround them with a supportive community that will encourage and uplift them.

We claim the promise in your word that says, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" . We believe that you have the power to break every chain and to bring complete restoration to our friend's life. May they experience the joy and peace that comes from surrendering their addiction to you.

We also pray for wisdom and guidance for our friend as they seek help and support in their journey towards recovery. Lead them to the right resources, counselors, and support groups that will provide the tools and encouragement they need to overcome this addiction.

Lord, we trust in your unfailing love and mercy. We know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We thank you in advance for the victory and freedom that our friend will experience as they surrender their addiction to you.

We also pray for the support and encouragement of their loved ones and the community around them. May they surround our friend with love, understanding, and accountability as they walk this path of recovery.

Lord, we believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We trust in your faithfulness and ask that you would bring complete healing and freedom to our friend's life. May their testimony of deliverance be a powerful witness to your saving grace.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
