Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart full of compassion and earnest desire for Your intervention in Rieu's life. Lord, Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We stand on this promise, believing that You will provide Rieu with the strength and the way out of this struggle.
Father, we know that in Your infinite wisdom and mercy, You understand the battles we face. As it is written in Hebrews 4:15-16, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areโyet he did not sin. Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out abundantly upon Rieu.
Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction that bind Rieu. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare freedom over Rieu's life. As it says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this freedom for Rieu right now.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for Rieu, that the Holy Spirit may guide and comfort during moments of temptation and weakness. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for this wisdom to be given to Rieu in abundance.
Lord, surround Rieu with a supportive community that can provide encouragement and accountability. Let Your love be a constant reminder that Rieu is never alone in this battle. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to transform lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
