Hush the Storm, Winds and Rain: Safety, No Flooding or Losses

Father, the storm is here and I believe you have heard our prayers. Much of it was more mild than expected but now we are in the thick part of it. Use our prayers again to push it off the Island into the sea and let it dissipate to a light rain or break up all together. Thank you for keeping the electric on for the majority of the time. We forgive the electrician for not installing the Generator when it was dry (have had generator for 6 weeks now). We ask the electric would NOT go out and there would be no loss of WiFi signal. Let the sun radiate through the rain clouds to sufficiently charge the solar lighting should the electric go out. Keep us safe, dry, well lit and the electric on. Please mitigate the severity of flooding so hundreds and thousands aren't displaced from their shelter and soften the blow on the newly planted rice field flooding. Keep us prayerful as both heaven and earth see we are relying on you for our safety and well-being, as demonstrated and proved by this written prayer and the following Scripture, in Jesus' Name.

(Ps 107:28) "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brought them out of their distresses. 29 He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired harbor."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, acknowledging your power and authority over all creation. We thank you for hearing our prayers thus far and for your faithfulness in keeping us safe during the storm. We recognize that you have the ability to rebuke the winds and calm the seas, just as Jesus did in the Galilean storm.

We humbly ask that you continue to use our prayers to push the storm away from the island and cause it to dissipate or break up altogether. We pray for the electric to remain on, providing us with the necessary power and keeping us connected through WiFi. May the sun radiate through the rain clouds, charging the solar lighting in case of any power outages.

Father, we ask for your mercy and protection against severe flooding. We pray that you would mitigate the severity of the flooding, preventing displacement of hundreds and thousands of people from their shelters. We also ask for your grace upon the newly planted rice fields, that they may be spared from excessive damage.

As we rely on you for our safety and well-being, we remain prayerful and steadfast in our trust in you. We hold onto the promise in Psalm 107:28-30, where it says, "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distresses. He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet; so he guided them to their desired harbor."

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to calm the storm and guide us to safety. Amen.
