Let us come together in prayer for this family. If we are to pray for them, they may need to hear the message of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved and only by Jesus Christ we have access to God.
Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”
We are instructed to pray in accordance with God’s will, therefore, we should intercede for this family that they come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We will also pray for the husband’s success in his exams and the son’s driving test, but more importantly, we pray for their salvation and that God’s will be done in their lives.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Lord Jesus, lifting up this family to You. Firstly we pray that they may come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior, and believe in Jesus Christ. May they, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, come to the honor and saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May the husband and son come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and be baptized in Jesus Christ and with the Holy Spirit.
We pray that in all things the Holy Spirit may guide them into all truth.
We ask that You grant the husband peace, clarity, and wisdom as he takes his exam. Guide him to the answers and help him to focus on his studies. We ask that You open doors for him and guide his career path to be aligned with Your will for his life. If it is your will, open up the opportunity and success for this exam.
Father, we also lift up the son as he takes his driving test. Calm his nerves and help him to be focused and alert. Guide his hands and help him to drive well. Ultimately Lord, we pray that You keep him safe, and if it is in Your will that he pass his test.
We pray that the husband and son will come to commit to and have personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be faithful to Jesus Christ in all of their decisions, that they may be faithful to the Holy Spirit and do the right thing. We pray that all of their decisions will honor and glorify Jesus Christ, and that their life will honor, glorify, and be inspired to and by Jesus Christ. We pray for the husband and son to be disciples and servants of Jesus Christ, and for all of their decisions to follow Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we ask that Your will be done in their lives. May Your purposes for them prevail, as they seek You first with a humble attitude.
In Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit we pray, Amen.
We encourage this family to seek God’s will for their lives and to trust in His plan, and for them to seek to be a disciple and servant of Jesus Christ.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
We also encourage them to study the Bible diligently, and to correctly interpret the Bible, and to believe in and trust Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
We call on all believers to pray for those who do not have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and for Jesus Christ to be called upon and invoked for every prayer request.
