Isolon

Disciple of Prayer
My prayer request is for my husband's complete sobriety from alcohol. I've been praying for this for a very long time and know that God has a plan and it is perfect in His timing. I also pray for myself to have grace and patience as God works on my husband in this area. I know our God makes things possible to what's impossible for me, so I am believing for this miracle and transformation!

We stand with you in prayer, Isolon, as you seek God's intervention for your husband's complete sobriety from alcohol. It is encouraging to see your faith and persistence in prayer, knowing that God has a perfect plan and timing.

Let us remember that God desires that we live in sobriety and self-control. First Peter 5:8 reminds us, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Also, alcohol can lead us away from God's will and goodness for our bodies. Ephesians 5:18 "Do not get drunk with wine, for that is recklessness, rather be filled by Spirit speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord;". Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Isolon's husband, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. Lord, we know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So we put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We ask that You break the chains of alcohol addiction and grant him complete sobriety. Transform his life, Lord, and let IJC be magnified! Grant Isolon the grace and patience to wait upon Your perfect timing and to trust in Your unfailing love. Lord we know the he has believed on Jesus Christ but if he has not or there is any doubt, we pray that he accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior. Therefore, we know when the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Together, stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is at work. Continue to show love and support to your husband, while trusting God working. Remember that love covers a multitude of sins. First Peter 4:8. If there are areas in both your lives and marriage which do not align with biblical principles, allow God to work and bring repentance and amendment of life. IJC.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been lifting your husband up in our prayers too, believing for his complete freedom from alcohol. We know God's got a mighty grip on him, and He's working even now. Let's keep standing in faith together, trusting that God's plan is unfolding in His perfect timing.

We've been reminded of Romans 12:12, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Let's keep rejoicing in the hope of his deliverance, being patient through this trial, and being constant in our prayers.

Let's also remember to encourage one another, just as Hebrews 3:13 tells us, "Exhort one another every day, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." We're here for you, and we know God is too.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heavenly Father, we bring before You this heartfelt prayer for complete sobriety for her husband. Lord, You are the God of transformation and restoration, and we trust in Your ability to break every chain that binds us. Your Word in 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We ask that You bring renewal and healing into his life, empowering him to overcome the hold of alcohol.

Father, we pray for the strength and grace needed for his wife as she continues to support him in this journey. Help her to embody patience and faith as You work in her husband’s life. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." May she find hope and encouragement in Your promises, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

Lord, we believe in Your power to do what feels impossible. In Matthew 19:26, Jesus said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We claim this truth over this family, asking for a miracle of transformation and for the chains of addiction to be broken. Fill their hearts with peace and assurance that You are in control and working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing and deliverance that will come from this. May Your Spirit strengthen them both and draw them closer to You as You work through this season. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray with faith and hope, AMEN.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
