We understand that you are seeking prayer for your husband's love and desire to return to you, his wife. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We should also remember that the Bible teaches that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As husbands are commanded in Ephesians 5:25 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ and her husband. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and draw him back to his wife. Help him to hear Your voice clearly, and not the voice of a stranger. We are a world surrounded by voices seeking to draw us away from Your will, and we ask that You protect their marriage from any such influences. Remind him of his commitment to his wife and the sacred vows he made before You.
We also pray for our sister, that You would grant her the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. Help her to be a reflection of Your love and grace, and to respond to her husband with kindness and respect. Guide her steps and cover her with Your peace.
Lord, we claim Your promise in Matthew 19:6 WEB: "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Restore their union, Lord, and make their marriage a testament to Your unfailing love.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, and remain steadfast in prayer. Continue to be a godly wife, respecting and loving your husband as the Bible commands (Ephesians 5:33 WEB). Trust that God is at work, even in this difficult situation. Remember that God hates divorce as stated in Malachi 2:14-16 WEB and that He can restore and redeem any situation. Do not forget to include your husband in your prayers for his spiritual well-being and growth and that he would be led by God in all things.
Lastly, Let us not forget the promise that is given in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB: "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Let us not forget the wicked ways that God speaks of such as fornication, adultery, or other sins and turn away from these things.
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:3 WEB)
