“Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective.” (James 5:16 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Father God, in Jesus’ name, we come before You to intercede for our sister's husband. Lord, we ask for his deliverance from dependence on medication. We pray that You will grant him the strength and courage to confess his sins, knowing that in confession there is healing and freedom. God, help him to experience the true freedom that comes from being forgiven and cleansed by Your mercy and grace. We also pray for a stronger faith and trust in You, Jesus Christ, for both of them. May their marriage be a testimony of Your redemptive power and love. We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God for your husband's deliverance. Remember, God's love and mercy are boundless, and He desires for all to come to repentance and freedom.
Lastly, we urge you both to meditate on God's promises. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 WEB) Faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of our salvation and freedom.
