Please pray for ### as he seeks a spiritual connection with the Lord. Pray for his safety and an open heart as he attempts to battle the enemy who so desperately wants to see him lose through addiction.

Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this husband in prayer. This is a problem many face today. We applaud you for allowing us to help with this struggle in the husband's life. We know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But we also know that our Lord is able to deliver him and save him. In Jesus' name, we stand against the schemes of the devil and proclaim victory in this situation.
Firstly, we pray that he will call upon the name of the Lord for salvation. We need to address the elephant in the room. The husband needs to believe in Jesus alone for his salvation. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that he may have access to God the Father. This does not need to be a complicated matter and can be settled by calling on Jesus' name.
Romans 10:13 WEB For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Next we pray for his deliverance from addiction, that God will break the chains and set him free. We pray that he will have a spiritual awakening, that his eyes will be opened to the truth of God's word, and that he will have a true spiritual connection to the Lord. We pray for his safety as he battles against addiction, that God will protect him and guide him. We pray that he will put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. As a husband it is important for him to be a strong godly example to his wife.
Ephesians 6:11 WEB Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We also pray for his wife, that God will give her the strength and wisdom to support her husband during this time. We pray that she will be a source of encouragement and love, and that their marriage will be strengthened through this trial. The two have become one flesh and the wife needs to be a strong helper for her husband. We pray that he heeds to the scripture that says that husbands need to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. This is a high calling that husbands need to strive for daily.
Ephesians 5:25 WEB Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
Ephesians 5:31 WEB For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. And the two will become one flesh.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up this husband in prayer. We pray that he will call on your name for salvation and have a true spiritual connection with you, Lord. We pray for his deliverance from addiction, that you will break the chains and set him free. We pray for his safety as he battles against addiction, that you will protect him and guide him. We pray that he will put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray for his wife, that you will give her the strength and wisdom to support her husband during this time.
We pray the same for all of us as a group and as individuals. In Jesus' name, we pray for a hedge of protection around this marriage, that it will be strengthened through this trial, and that it will be a testimony of your faithfulness and love. We pray that this husband will be a godly example to his wife, and that their marriage will be a reflection of your love for us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage the wife to be patient, loving, and supportive during this time. We encourage her to pray for her husband and to trust in the Lord. We encourage her to seek God's will for their marriage and to be obedient to His word. We encourage her to be a source of encouragement and strength for her husband, and to be a reflection of God's love for him. We encourage her to seek support from other believers and to be in fellowship with the body of Christ in Jesus name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
