We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your husband is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you concluded your request with "in Jesus name amen".
This is vital because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and be saved.
Let's turn to the Word of God for some encouragement and guidance. In James 5:1415, it says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We also know from God's Word that, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." So we pray that your husband will rely on God's strength during this time.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hgd's husband to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the depression, and the pain. We ask, Father, that You would touch him, heal him, and restore his mind and body. We pray that You would give him the strength to overcome these challenges and that Your grace would be sufficient for him.
We also ask, Lord, that You would open up job opportunities for him. Guide him to a position where he can use his talents for Your glory and provide for his family. Help him to break free from anything that is hindering him from being the man You have called him to be.
In the meantime, we pray, Father, that Hgd would be filled with Your peace, patience, and unfailing love. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and draw them closer to You and to each other during this time.
Lastly, we pray for the marriage of Hgd and her husband. We pray that he would be the leader of their home and that they would be a blessing to each other and to others.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
Amen
Hgd, continue to trust in the Lord and encourage your husband to do the same. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for you both. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your husband's life and your marriage. Consider this a joy, as it says in James 1:2-3, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance."
And as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Lastly be reminded of 1 Corinthians 7:14, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy."
So be encouraged that your faith and prayers are a blessing for your husband. This is one of the reasons that we know marriage is so important to God, the sanctification of us and our children.
