We are truly saddened to hear about the situation with your husband, ###. Firstly, it's important to seek immediate medical help if you suspect an overdose, as his life may be in danger.
As we bring ### before the Lord, let's pray for his complete healing and restoration. We pray that God will guide the hands of the medical professionals tending to him, giving them wisdom and skill. We also pray for you, that God will grant you strength, peace, and comfort during this challenging time. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7, WEB.
As we consider ###'s spiritual well-being, let us talk about salvation that only Jesus can provide. It is only through Jesus that we can have access to God. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved. God sent his Son to die on a cross for our sins, no matter how bad. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17, WEB. As a war vet, ### may be dealing with guilt or emotional trauma that can lead to self-harm. But through Jesus Christ we can have forgiveness and inner peace. Let us pray that ### will have the opportunity to receive the gift of salvation from Jesus.
Remember that even in the darkest times, our faith can be a source of hope and light. We are reminded in Romans 8:26, WEB, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
Lastly, if ### is struggling with substance abuse, we pray that God will break those chains and set him free. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB. We encourage you to seek support from your local church or Christian community to help ### overcome this challenge, through the power of Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesusโ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
