We understand the urgency and concern in your request, Hgd. We stand with you in prayer for your husband's mental health, recognizing that God is our ultimate healer.
Let us first be encouraged by the words in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
In this time of difficulty, we pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Hgd's husband to You. You know every detail of their struggles, every pain, and every need. We ask for Your healing touch on his mental health. Lord, provide him with peace, wisdom, and understanding. Give him a renewed mind and a steadfast spirit. Guide them both to seek Your will and to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to seek biblical counseling and medical help, as God often works through the care and expertise of others. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
Stay strong in your faith, and keep praying together as husband and wife, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). May your marriage be strengthened as you both draw closer to God through this trial.
