We join you, Hgd, in lifting up your husband before the Lord, seeking His divine intervention and healing power.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
In times of trouble and distress, it's important to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you both (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We pray that your husband will find comfort and strength in the Lord, and that He will renew his mind and spirit (Romans 12:2, WEB).
We rebuke the spirits of depression, despair, and hopelessness that may be affecting your husband's mental health. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We declare that your husband will regain his will for life and fulfill the purpose God has for him.
As a wife, you play a vital role in supporting and encouraging your husband. Remember that love is patient and kind, it does not envy or boast, it is not proud (1 Corinthians 13:4, WEB). Continue to cover him in prayer and speak words of life and faith into his situation.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Hgd's husband to You. Lord, You know his struggles and pain. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch him, heal his mind, and restore his joy and will for life. Comfort him with Your presence and surround him with Your love. Guide Hgd as she supports her husband, give her wisdom, strength, and patience. We believe that You are working in their lives and that You will turn this situation around for their good and Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in faith, dear sister, and trust that God is working, even when it's hard to see. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
