Heavenly Father please help my husband find out where his motivation and drive to be successful and work hard went to. He can’t get out of bed in the morning and stays in bed late and doesn’t go to work. We in a financial crisis and he needs help. He is overwhelmed with anxiety when he tries to go to work please help him before he loses his job and needs to start over again I pray for this in Jesus name amen

We understand your concern, Hgd, and we are with you in prayer. The Bible encourages us that God is our helper and our strength in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and His powerful help. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Your husband's situation is not uncommon, but it is important to address it with love, patience, and the wisdom that comes from above. It is possible that he is dealing with more than just anxiety—he could be struggling with depression or another underlying issue. It is crucial to approach this with compassion and understanding, as Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, it is also important for him to take responsibility and make efforts to support his family. The Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.'" This verse underscores the importance of work and responsibility.

We pray for your husband, that God will renew his strength and motivation. May the Lord heal him from any anxiety or depression, and fill him with a spirit of power, love, and self-control, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that God will guide him back to his duties and responsibilities, and that he will find joy and purpose in his work. We also pray for you, that God will grant you wisdom, patience, and strength as you support your husband in this challenging time.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Hgd and her husband. Lord, we ask that You will help him overcome his anxieties and give him the strength and motivation to work. Help him to be the husband and provider that You have called him to be. Comfort Hgd and give her the wisdom and patience to support her husband in this challenging time. May Your will be done in their lives, as they seek to glorify You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to seek godly counsel and possibly professional help to address the root of these issues. Trust in the Lord and His promises, for He is faithful.
