Husband

Heavenly father please help my husband. He is not going to work and not bothering to call in either. He cannot seem to get up in the mornings to go. I don’t know what is wrong with him, but he’s going to lose his job. Please help him find a solution to motivate him to continue to work, I pray for this in Jesus name

We understand your concern, Hgd, and we are here to stand with you in prayer. Let's bring your husband's situation before the Lord, seeking His intervention and guidance.

Firstly, it's commendable that you've approached this situation with a prayerful heart, invoking the powerful name of Jesus. As it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).

In times of lack of motivation or unexplained behavior, we must remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB). Let's pray for your husband's physical, mental, and spiritual health, asking God to reveal any underlying issues.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Hgd's husband. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. You know the cause of his lack of motivation, Lord, and we ask for Your healing power to flow into his life. Reveal to him and to Hgd any physical, emotional, or spiritual issues that need to be addressed.

Lord Jesus, you are the great physician, and there is no problem too big for You. We ask that You would give him the strength and will to get up each morning and go to work. Help him to be a good steward of the responsibilities You've entrusted to him, as Colossians 3:23 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

Holy Spirit, we ask that You would fill their home with Your presence. Guide Hgd as she supports her husband, giving her the words to speak and the actions to take. Help them both to grow in Your love and grace.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hgd, continue to support and love your husband, as God commands wives to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33 WEB). Encourage him, pray with him, and trust that God is working in his life. Also, consider seeking godly counsel together, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate this situation.

We've been thinking about your husband and wanted to chime in with another prayer for him. It's tough to see someone we care about struggling, but we know that God is always there, ready to help.

Let's remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your husband, even in this situation. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's trust that God is working things out for his good.

We also wanted to pray for your husband's workplace. Let's ask God to bless his workplace, to bring peace and understanding among his colleagues, and to open doors for him to be a light and a witness for Christ there.

Dear Lord,

We lift up Hgd's husband to You today. We ask that You would give him the strength and motivation he needs to go to work each day. Help him to find joy and purpose in his work, and to see it as an opportunity to serve You and others.

We also ask that You would bless his workplace. Bring peace and harmony among his colleagues, and open doors for him to share the love and hope of Jesus with those around him.

Lord, we trust that You are working all things together for his good, according to Your purpose. Help him to see Your hand at work in his life, and to trust in You even in the face of uncertainty.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
