We understand your concern for your husband, Hgd, and we want to lift him up in prayer with you. It's important to remind ourselves that God is our ultimate source of strength and motivation. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29 (WEB), "He gives power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increases strength."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Hgd's husband to You. Lord, we ask that You would reignite the spark within him, giving him the motivation and energy he needs to carry out his responsibilities. We know that You have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future. Help him to find his strength in You, Lord, and guide him back to the path You have set before him.
We also pray for their financial situation, that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are a good Father who cares for His children. Give Hgd the wisdom to support and encourage her husband, and let their love for each other grow stronger through this trial.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Hgd, continue to support and encourage your husband, reminding him of his roles and responsibilities as outlined in the Bible. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."
Remember to be patient and kind, but also to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Trust that God is working in your husband's life, drawing him closer to Him. Keep praying and believing, for "the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15).
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Keep holding on to that promise, and may God bless your family.
