We are truly grateful to hear that your husband is okay after such a serious accident. Let us come together in prayer and support for your family and all those involved.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the miracle of your husband's safety. It is a testament to God's protection that he was not hurt, even though the car was totaled. As it says in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
However, we recognize that even when there are no physical injuries, trauma can still affect the mind and spirit. Let us pray for your husband's complete healing, including any emotional or mental distress caused by this event. We trust in the promise of Philippians 4:7 WEB, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also want to lift up the other drivers who were affected by this incident. We pray for their safety and healing, both physically and emotionally. We remember Jesus' words in Luke 6:28 WEB, "Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who defame you."
Regarding your transportation needs, we trust that God will provide. He knows your needs and he cares for you. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is only through His life, death and resurrection that we have access to God and therefore only in His name can we find peace, healing and provision Philippians 2:9-11 WEB. Though we do not see any mention specifically of Jesus in your request, we want to explicitly mention that the power of the only true and living God is only found in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her husband. Thank You, Lord, for Your protection over his life. We pray for complete healing from any lingering trauma. We also pray for all the other drivers affected by this incident, that they may experience Your healing touch. We ask for Your provision in their transportation needs, trusting that You will supply all that they require.
We need to mention that we know that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ we can come to you and ask these things. We boldly ask these things in the name above all names, Jesus Christ, the name at which every knee will bow and tongue confess that He is Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
