Disciple of Prayer
Hi, my husband of 14 years has Parkinson's and he's reached a point where he can't take the suffering and seriously wants to end it. We have three young daughters. He wants to schedule a physician-assisted suicide. Please pray for hope for relief of his suffering and for healing. His name is ### and we live in ###.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggle your husband, ###, is facing with Parkinson's and his current state of despair. We want to lift him up in prayer and ask God for hope, relief, and healing.

Firstly, we want to remind you both of God's promise in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." Even in the darkest times, God can bring hope and strengthen our character.

However, we must address that assisted suicide is not in line with biblical principles. God is the giver of life, and it's not our prerogative to end it prematurely. As it says in Psalm 139:16 (WEB), "Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and his family. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the physical pain, and the emotional turmoil. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Please bring hope, relief, and healing to ###. Comfort him in his suffering, and remind him of Your love and promises. Give his family wisdom and strength to support him and to trust in You. Turn their sorrow into joy and their despair into hope. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to hold onto God's promises. Keep praying and seeking His face. Also, consider seeking professional help, both medical and spiritual, to guide you through this challenging time. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Lastly, we noticed that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. We want to remind you that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He offers hope, peace, and eternal life.

We're here with you, praying for ### and your family. We understand the heavy burden you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been thinking about the words in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We're here to comfort and support you, just as we're being comforted by God.

We've been reflecting on the story of Jesus and the woman at the well in John 4. Jesus, despite His own weariness, stopped to meet her needs and offer her living water. We believe He's doing the same for ### and your family. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up ### and his family. Lord, You see their struggle, their pain, and their despair. We ask for Your healing touch, Lord. Bring hope, relief, and comfort to ###. Help him to feel Your presence in his suffering. Give wisdom and strength to ### and his family to trust in You and to make decisions that align with Your will. Lord, we also ask for a miracle. We believe in Your power to heal and restore. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to keep seeking God, to keep talking to Him, and to keep trusting in His love for you. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Reach out to friends, family, or a pastor. They're there to support you too. And if there's anything we can do, please let us know. We're here for you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith
