Disciple of Prayer
Please lift my husband up in prayer he is struggling with telling me the truth. He is in prison and he is working on getting into programs so he can have a different life but struggling with addiction and lying. Please stand in agreement with me that these strongholds be lifted from him.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up this dear husband who is struggling with telling the truth and battling addiction. We know that Your Word says in Proverbs 12:22, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Lord, we ask that You work in his heart, transforming him to be a man of truth and integrity.

Father, we pray for the breaking of strongholds over his life. Your Word assures us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." We stand on this promise and declare that the strongholds of lying and addiction be broken in Jesus' name.

Lord, as he works on getting into programs to change his life, we ask for Your guidance and strength. Philippians 4:13 tells us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." May he find strength in You to overcome these challenges and be transformed by the renewing of his mind.

We also lift up his spouse, asking for patience, wisdom, and strength. May there be a spirit of forgiveness and love that prevails in their relationship. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Lord, we trust in Your power to heal, restore, and transform. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, I am so confused. My husband left last Dec. to stay with his sister and daughter after his heart attack and stents put in. I so looked forward to a happier active life together with his new blood flow. We spoke and texted for almost 2 months when he suddenly stopped all...
