We stand with you in prayer, Ceresea, and we appreciate your heartfelt cry to God. We will address your request and intercede on your behalf.
First we remember and apply the word of God in Matthew 19. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before your throne of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up Ceresea and her husband to you. Lord, we ask that You intervene in their marriage and remove Lisa Moore, known as Red, from their lives. Father, we pray that You would change the circumstances and the hearts of those involved. We will not stop praying for them..
In Matthew 19:6, we remember that "they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
Father, we ask that Ceresea's husband would desire her and her alone, and that Lisa Moore would no longer pursue him. We pray that Ceresea's husband would be true to her and true to You from this moment on. We pray for a full restoration of their marriage, in Jesus name (Philippians 4:6)
If this woman or another would continue pursue another's husband we pray she will be exposed and take other side of that sin. (Proverbs 6:32)
We pray that any roots of bitterness or unforgiveness be removed from Ceresea's heart, and that she would be filled with Your love, peace, and grace. We ask that she would seek for everything that is true, for everything that is honorable, right, pure, lovely and worthy. For if there is anything worthy of praise--any virtue or excellency, then Ceresea should think on these things. If Lisa has husband, we pray he would diligently keep unto her as he should..
Father as we also read in Proverbs 5:18 "Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth," we plight to Ceresea's husband..
We rebuke issues and litigiousness in their marriage and we know the Devil will be defeated in the bond of their marriage as they seek Your face together. (Ephesians 6:12.)
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank you being their hope and their salvation and hear your humble servants as we pray to you.
Thank you our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to put your trust in Christ and in the restoration of your marriage. The husband is to provide love to the wife and the wife is to respect the husband.
Ceresea, please seek guidance from the Holy Spirit and your local church for support to ensure proper conduct as you address this sensitive issue of adultery in your marriage. There could be many stages before full forgiveness and trust can be restored as you walk with God in the days ahead. But stay the course for longsuffering is a fruit of the Holy Spirit of God and will allow God to help you to endure it.
