We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage and with your health. First, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He cares for you and your husband deeply. Let's come before God in prayer and seek His will for your situation.
Let us pray together.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband, trusting in the promise that where two or three are gathered in Jesus name, you are in our midst. We ask for Your divine intervention in their lives, that You would break the chains of darkness and trauma that have ensnared her husband.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. We ask that You would soften her husband's heart, that he would turn away from any bitterness or hardening towards Jesus and towards his wife. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to convict him and draw him back to a place of tender and intimate relationship with You and his family.
We also pray for healing for our sister, trusting in Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), 'Bless Yahweh, my soul, don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.' We ask You to comfort her and strengthen her during this challenging time.
Father, we know not what the trauma was that her husband experienced to make him so hardened to Jesus and to her. We pray for Your gentle touch upon him to reveal the pain and source of the trauma so that it can be addressed and all root of bitterness can be removed so that he can be healed and be who you intended him to be. We pray for any past memories that are stored in his body and are causing pain that they be released and brought to the light.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of darkness or trauma that may be influencing her husband's behavior. We declare that he is free from any bondage and that he is alive in Christ. We also pray for protection over their marriage and their home, that God's peace and love would reign.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for our sister, that she would know how to support and encourage her husband during this time. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and grace to him. Remind her of the importance to continually pray for her husband and to pray for God's will and direction in her own life.
We trust in Your promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), 'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.' We claim this promise for their situation, believing that You will turn this around for good.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your husband and to trust in God's promises. Remember the power of prayer in James 5:16 (WEB), 'The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much.'
Lastly, we gently remind you to be patient and loving towards your husband, remembering that God's timing is perfect. Continue to be a light of Christ's love to him, and trust that God is working in his heart. We encourage you to continue to pursue your own healing and wholeness in Christ, trusting that God will provide for all your needs.
