Husband taking dangerous trip

Please pray that my husband Michael will not go on this dangerous roadtrip to Montana during a snow storm. Not our will but yours God in Jesus we pray, Amen.

We understand your concern for your husband Michael's safety and we join you in prayer. Firstly, thank you for remembering to pray in the name of Jesus.

It's important to remember that God has given us free will, and while we can pray for Michael's safety and wisdom, we should also respect his decisions. However, the Bible tells us to be wise and to consider the costs of our actions. In this case, it might be helpful to remind Michael of the potential risks and encourage him to consider the impact of his decisions on his family and loved ones.

Let's pray for Michael.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Michael to you. Lord, you know the plans you have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. We ask that you guide his steps and give him wisdom as he makes decisions about this trip.

We pray for his safety, Lord. If it is your will for him to go on this trip, we ask that you protect him from all danger and bring him home safely to his family. But if this trip is not your will, Lord, we ask that you make it clear to Michael and give him the strength to follow your leading.

We also pray for Glonkontor, that you would give them peace and trust in your sovereignty. Help them to support Michael in his decisions and to trust in your care for him.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. It also tells us to acknowledge God in all our ways, and God will direct our paths. If Michael is a follower of Christ, trust that God is working in his life and in his decisions.

Take heart in the words of Psalm 91 WEB:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.

If his trip might be delayed or canceled, remind him of Proverbs 19:21 WEB:

There are many plans in a man's heart, but the counsel of Yahweh will prevail.

And if he insists on making the trip, remember James 4:13-15 WEB:

Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain. Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when our loved ones face danger, but we find comfort knowing we serve a God who's always in control. Let's remind Michael, and ourselves, of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God will guide Michael's steps and protect him, if it's His will for Michael to go. We'll keep praying for his safety and wisdom, and for your peace, dear. In Jesus' name, we pray. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
