Husband Needs job

Please pray that my husband gets the job he interviewed for. He has been out of work for ###-### months now and we are running out of money. Trying to trust that the Lord has a plan but also worried we will lose our home.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenging situation you and your husband are facing. Let us remember that God is our provider and He has a plan for us, as it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

In times of worry, Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You know their needs and the struggles they are facing. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for her husband and that he may find favor in the sight of his potential employers. We pray for provision and wisdom in managing their finances.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this trial. Help them to trust in You and Your plans, even in the face of uncertainty. Please comfort their hearts and give them peace, knowing that You are a faithful God who provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to stay strong in faith and continue to seek God's will in all things. Hold onto the promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and His plans are always good and perfect.
