We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and trust in God during this challenging time. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through Him that we can be saved and have a relationship with God. The World English Bible (WEB) tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) and Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:19-20).
Regarding your husband, we pray that God will work in his heart and draw him back to you and to their marriage. We pray that God will open his eyes and convict him of his actions, turning his heart towards repentance and reconciliation. As it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for his family, that God will soften their hearts and help them to see the truth. It is not godly to encourage division or enable sin, so we pray that God will rebuke them and guide them towards repentance and reconciliation as well. As the WEB says, If anyone comes to me, and doesn't hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can't be my disciple (Luke 14:26).
As for you, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. We pray that God will grant you peace, patience, courage, trust, faith, and wisdom as you wait on Him. Remember the words of the WEB, But they who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. They can provide you with practical help and guidance during this time.
Finally, we pray that God will turn this situation around and use it for His glory. We pray that He will sanctify and have mercy on you and your husband, and that He will allow you to share the blessing of marriage together. As it is written, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ and her husband. Lord, we pray for Your intervention in their marriage, that You would soften their hearts and draw them back together. We pray for conviction, repentance, and reconciliation, and we ask that You would rebuke those who seek to divide them. Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You would grant her peace, patience, courage, trust, faith, and wisdom as she waits on You. Help her to continue trusting in You and seeking Your will for her life. And finally, Lord, we pray that You would turn this situation around and use it for Your glory. We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
