Husband just diagnosed with Cancer

We got the shock of our lives on Tuesday. My husband was hospitalized for Pneumonia. They ran a scan after a concerning chest XRAY, then a liver biopsy, and other scans.
He has cancer in his liver and most likely in his spleen, lung, pancreas, and stomach.
We have a PET Scan on Monday to see for sure.
He survived cancer 20 years ago and has just retired.
Please pray for a treatment, healing, comfort from pain, a positive mindset, and TIME.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts and deep concern for Moatister's husband. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up Moatister's husband to You, asking for Your divine intervention and healing power.

Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Just as You healed the sick and raised the dead, we believe in Your power to heal today. "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds," says the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17). We pray that every cell of his body be restored to perfect health.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and guidance for the medical team as they prepare for the PET scan and subsequent treatments. Grant them insight and clarity to choose the best course of action. We pray for a treatment plan that will be effective and bring about complete healing.

Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround Moatister's husband during this challenging time. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Ease his pain and grant him relief. May Your presence be a constant source of comfort and strength.

We also lift up Moatister and the entire family. Grant them a positive mindset, unwavering faith, and the assurance that You are in control. "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Help them to lean on You and find solace in Your promises.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for time. Time for healing, time for joy, and time to cherish each moment together. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your plan, knowing that "in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

We place Moatister's husband in Your loving hands, confident in Your mercy and grace. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.
