We are truly sorry to hear about the job loss and the struggles you and your husband are facing. We are here to pray with you and encourage you both in this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He cares for you and your husband deeply. We are called to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
In times of uncertainty, it's crucial to trust in the Lord's timing and provision. As a husband and wife, you are to bear each others' burdens. Remind your husband that he needs to be patient as being impatient is a sin. Remember Psalm 37:7 WEB, Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
We also encourage your husband to seek the Lord diligently and to trust in Him with all his heart. He should not lean on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge Him, and He will make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). This includes making a diligent effort to look for a job that can provide for the family.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Etholpuurmir and her husband. Lord, You know their struggles and the desperation they feel. We pray that You will open the doors to a new job opportunity for her husband, something that will not only provide for their financial needs but also give him a sense of purpose and contribution to the family. Help them to be happy in their current state. Give her husband not only patience, but also the wisdom and guidance to seek the right opportunities. You are a great provider and we thank You that you help the poor and needy as said in Psalm 35:10 WEB.
In the meantime, Lord, grant them peace and patience. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision. Strengthen their faith and their marriage during this trial. Let this experience draw them closer to You and to each other.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Lord.
Amen.
We encourage you both to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Trust that He has a plan and a purpose in this season of waiting. Also, keep in mind that "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB) Use this time to grow closer to Him and to each other.
