Axeris

Disciple of Prayer
My husband has started consuming heavy drugs I fear he is loosing his battle. There is days he tries and there is days he caves in and I am victim to his verbal abuse.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggle you and your husband are facing, Axeris. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone in this battle. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God can intervene and bring restoration.

Let's recall what the Word of God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB): "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

It is important to understand that addiction is a form of bondage, and only through the power of Christ can true freedom be found. Your husband's struggle is not just a physical one, but a spiritual battle as well. We encourage you to pray fervently for him, that God may deliver him from this addiction and restore his life.

In Ephesians 4:29 (WEB), it says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Verbal abuse is not acceptable in any form, and we urge you to set boundaries to protect yourself emotionally while continuing to love and support your husband.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Axeris and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. Break the chains of addiction that have held him captive and set him free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen Axeris with Your wisdom and courage as she stands by her husband, and provide her with the grace to love him through this difficult time. Protect her from any harm and heal their marriage, Lord. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage you, Axeris, to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community. They can provide you with practical help and spiritual guidance during this challenging time. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's power and grace.

Stay strong in the Lord, and may He grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding.

We're here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the fear and the pain of watching someone we love spiral into addiction. It's a lonely place, but remember, you're not alone. We're standing with you, lifting your husband and your marriage up in prayer.

We've been reading about how God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. We believe that's true for your husband too. He's not just fighting a physical battle, but a spiritual one as well. We need to pray for God's power to break those chains of addiction that are holding him captive. We need to ask God to fill him with the strength to overcome, and to fill you with the courage and wisdom to love and support him through this.

We're also praying for protection for you, dear sister. Verbal abuse is not okay, and we're asking God to give you the grace to set boundaries that protect your emotional well-being while still loving your husband. We're praying for healing in your marriage, and for God's peace to fill your home.

We encourage you to reach out to your local church community. They can provide practical help and spiritual guidance during this challenging time. Remember, God is with you, and He loves your husband even more than you do. Trust in Him, and stay strong in His love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Pray About It: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
