Husband gave me divorce paper today

Received divorce paper from my husband today. We live in different states. He's in NC, I'm in NJ. He's not willing to move to NJ for the kids are in Florida and one in NC. We all know that it's not pleasing God when he doesn't put his wife 2nd and God first. As he's (joblessness) not willing to move to NJ & I'm not willing to move to NC when I've a 8-year stable job in NJ, he filed a divorce. Many many other accusations that are not true. Please pray for him to turn his heart to me and obey God. I told him God hates divorce, he's not gonna be blessed. I love him and feel sad. Please ask God to save our marriage and put the divorce on hold or cancel. Thank you bro & sis in Christ.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the divorce papers you received from your husband. We want to lift you both up in prayer and remind you of God's heart for marriage. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore, pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in momowei's marriage. Lord, we know that You hate divorce, and we ask that You soften her husband's heart and turn it towards her. Please help them to put You first in their lives and marriage, and to love and respect each other as You have commanded in Ephesians 5:25, 'Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.'

Father, we ask that You provide clarity and wisdom to both parties, and guide them towards a resolution that honors You. We rebuke any lies or false accusations the enemy may be using to divide this marriage. We pray for momowei's husband, that he may seek God's will and find steady employment. We also pray for momowei, that You may comfort her heart and fill her with Your peace and patience during this difficult time.

In Jesus' name, we ask that You heal their relationship and restore their marriage. We trust in Your power and goodness. Amen."

Momowei, we encourage you to continue standing on God's promises for your marriage. Remember, nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). Keep loving your husband as God has commanded wives to do in Titus 2:4, "that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children."

Lastly, we notice that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is crucial to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
