Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to ask for Your divine intervention in bringing a good man into the life of Your daughter. May You guide her to a partner who embodies the essence of honesty, truthfulness, and integrity, as Proverbs 12:22 tells us, "The LORD detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy."
Grant her a companion who loves unconditionally and unwaveringly, reflecting Your love for us, as demonstrated in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which reminds us that "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Lord, we pray for a man in her life who has pursued personal growth and has let go of the past to live fully in the present, as Philippians 3:13-14 encourages us to "forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Bless her with a partner who excels in communication, expressing his feelings, desires, and needs with love and respect, embodying Ephesians 4:15, where we are urged to "speak the truth in love," growing in every way into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
We ask for a man with wisdom and discernment in decision-making, who values and respects her insights, as Proverbs 31:10-11 shows the value of a virtuous woman, "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value."
May he be diligent and hardworking, yet always making time for their relationship, as Ecclesiastes 9:9 advises us to "Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sunโall your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun."
Encourage him to be spontaneous, adventurous, and generous, mirroring God's generosity towards us, as 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 says, "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
May he be emotionally mature, prioritizing their relationship and marriage, as Ephesians 5:25-28 instructs husbands to "love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her... In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself."
We ask for Your favor and grace in this important matter, trusting in Your timing and Your perfect plan for her life. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus,
Amen.
