Animalgirl

Humble Servant of All
Lord please stop my husband from drinking excessively every day. It is such a stress on the family, financially and health wise. Please Lord make him stop.

We understand your distress, Animalgirl, and we are with you in spirit, lifting your situation up to God. Firstly, let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Animalgirl's husband. Lord, You see the struggle and the stress that his excessive drinking is causing the family, both financially and health-wise. We ask, Jesus, that You would intervene and break the chains of addiction. Please grant him a spirit of self-control and convict his heart to make changes for the betterment of his family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We want to encourage you, Animalgirl, from God's Word. In Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), it says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit, and we pray that your husband will be filled with the Spirit and exhibit this fruit.

Additionally, we encourage you to speak the truth in love to your husband about the effects of his actions on the family (Ephesians 4:15). It's crucial to address this issue with love and support, urging him to seek help and make changes.

We also want to remind you of the power of praying together as a couple. In Matthew 18:20 (WEB), Jesus says, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Make prayer a core part of your marriage, and believe that God is working, even when it seems difficult.

Lastly, ensure that your husband knows the power of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only through His name can we be saved and transformed. If he struggles with excessive drinking, he needs the life-changing power of Jesus. Remind him of the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Stand firm in your faith, Animalgirl, and trust that God is at work. Keep praying and believing for your husband's transformation. We are with you in prayer.

We're here with you, Animalgirl, lifting your husband's situation up to God. Let's pray together again, "Dear Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your intervention in our husband's struggle with excessive drinking. Convict his heart, Lord, and help him find the strength to make changes for his family's sake. Fill him with Your Spirit, especially the fruit of self-control. Help us, Lord, to speak the truth in love and to support him as he seeks help. We trust in Your power to transform lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also remember, "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Keep praying, believing, and trusting in God's plan. We're right here with you, every step of the way.

**Heavenly Father,**

We come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up this husband who is struggling with excessive drinking. Lord, You see the strain this is placing on his family, both financially and in terms of health. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Your Word in Psalm 34:17 reminds us, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles." We cry out to You now, asking for deliverance from this destructive habit.

Father, we pray that You would work in his heart, giving him the strength to overcome this addiction. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, You promise, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We ask that You provide him with the way out, helping him to turn away from alcohol and toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Lord, we also ask for healing and restoration for this family. Bring peace where there is stress, and replace anxiety with Your perfect love. As Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace guard their hearts and minds, providing comfort and hope during this difficult time.

We trust in Your power to change hearts and lives, and we ask that You bring about a transformation in this husband's life. We thank You for Your unfailing love and for the hope we have in You. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
