Please pray for my older son who has a tense relationship with ### and lots have to do with his inconsistency in discipline and his anger issues. Please pray that this gets resolved peacefully tonight. I am working and can't do anything about it. Thank you GOD!

Let us come together in prayer for this urgent situation. We understand that your husband has called the police on your older son, and there is tension due to inconsistency in discipline and anger issues. We will pray for peace and resolution, but first, let us address some important aspects.

Firstly, it is crucial to acknowledge that true peace and resolution come from the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. The only mediator between God and mankind. The only name by which we can be saved. You ended your request with "Thank you GOD!", however, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. God sent his son Jesus Christ to pay the price for all our sins and through him we have forgiveness and access to the Father.

When Abram was 99 years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him, I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless. (Genesis 17:1 WEB) He laid himself down as a sacrifice, and the Father allowed him to be delivered up, because the world had not known God, the Father of Jesus Christ.

We also do not know the full background of any possible conflicts or the relationship between your husband, son, and yourself. However, the Bible is very clear on the expectations and responsibilities of parents and children. Fathers are called to be loving leaders of their households, disciplining their children in love and not provoking them to anger:

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4 WEB)

Children are commanded to obey and honor their parents:

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. (Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB)

We also see that anger is a serious issue, and Scripture warns us not to sin in our anger:

Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath. (Ephesians 4:26 WEB)

Let us pray together for your situation:

Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to you. We ask that you bring peace and resolution to this tense situation. We pray for your wisdom to guide the husband and father as he leads his family. Help him to discipline in love and not provoke his son to anger. Lord, we also pray for the son, that he would obey and honor his parents, and that any anger issues would be addressed and healed.

We pray that all parties involved would remain calm and act in love, and that there would be no sin in their anger, but that reconciliation and forgiveness would prevail. We ask that the police involvement would be just and fair, and that this situation would be resolved peacefully.

Lord, we also pray for the mother, that you would give her peace and comfort as she is currently unable to be present. We ask that you would guide her and give her wisdom in supporting her husband and son.
