Firstly, we want to remind you of the beautiful design God has for marriage, as reflected in Ephesians 5:25-33 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... Let each one of you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." This passage highlights the roles of love and respect in a marriage, which are essential for a peaceful relationship.
However, we also want to address that communication is a two-way street. While you desire for your husband to speak to you, we encourage you to also speak to him in love and respect. As it is written in Proverbs 15:1 (WEB), "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Ensure that your words are gentle and filled with grace, as this can greatly impact the dynamics of your communication.
