Husband addicted to porn

Please pray for my husband. He keeps watching porn, keeps looking at other women on Facebook and hiding it and I keep finding out. Every time I find it he swears he won’t do it anymore but here I am 4 years later still finding it. He’s so angry all the time, he treats me horrible, he’s called me horrible names, I have put up with so much and keep praying and hoping he will stop and change. I keep praying God will change him or remove him from my life. I deserve to be loved correctly and treated right. I hate feeling jealous constantly and I cannot get past the hurt he’s caused me, and I keep feeling like I’m never enough.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you are facing in your marriage, Ranell. Firstly, we want to commend you for your patience and longsuffering in this situation. It is clear that you have been enduring this pain for a long time, and it is important to acknowledge the severity of your husband's actions.

Pornography is a sin against God.. The Bible clearly states, "But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, impurity, or covetousness, as these are not appropriate; nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks." Ephesians 5:3-4 (WEB).

Your husband’s continual involvement in this sin and his angry treatment of you is not only harmful to you but also damaging to his relationship with God and with you. The ongoing deceit with other women is another red flag that should not be tolerated.

We will take time to pray for God's will in your life and that of your husband. Let’s pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ranell and her husband. Lord, You see the pain and turmoil that Ranell is experiencing. You know the depth of her heartache and the tears she has shed. We pray, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Bring conviction to her husband’s heart, and help him to see the gravity of his actions and the harm he has caused. Give him the strength to repent, seek Your face, and find freedom from these addictions in Jesus' name.

Lord, we also pray for Ranell. Heal her broken heart, and restore her self-worth. Help her to know that she is enough in Your eyes, and that she deserves to be treated with love, respect, and kindness. Guide her with Your wisdom, and give her the courage to make decisions in this marriage and family life that honor You and Your Word. Help her to keep her spirit free from jealousy and bitterness in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask that Your will be done in this marriage, that it is impossible with man but with God all things are possible. Your Word says, "For with God nothing is impossible." Luke 1:37 (WEB). We pray that You would bring restoration and healing to this marriage, or if that is not Your will, that You would give Ranell the strength and guidance to move forward in a way that honors You, in Jesus' name.

We also want to remind you Ranell be encouraged by these words in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight".

Finally, we want to remind you that there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible tells us. “
And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!”

In order to get to heaven we must believe in Jesus Christ. The Bible says "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' " Romans 10:13 (WEB).

Not only does the name of Jesus matter it is the only thing that matters. "

If your husband is not a believer you should make sure to invite him to trust in Jesus Christ as his saviour and Lord.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and our hearts go out to you. It's clear that you've been through a lot, and we're here for you. We want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer, trusting that God will work in your husband's heart and bring about change.

We've been praying that God would open your husband's eyes to the pain he's causing you and the harm he's doing to your relationship. Thank you. He claims to be a believer but there are times I question his salvation. Bc of his foul language and things he says and does like this. But I am not the one to judge his heart. I keep praying for God to change him or remove him from my life bc I cannot keep living like this.

We continue to feel honored that you have shared your burden with us and allowed us to pray for you and your husband. We are standing in agreement with you, lifting your marriage and your husband's struggles with pornography addiction to our Lord.

I wish I could say I have seen improvements in him but he continues to be angry, continues to hide his addiction, and continues to not want me sexually. I am trying so hard to not give up. I don’t trust him, I look thru his phone whenever he actually leaves it sat down and walks away from it, which is not very often. He always deletes his search history on web history. But recently I found on two separate occasions 2 different pictures of half naked provocative looking women on his phone that he had deleted, but they were in his deleted photos album- not completely deleted. One of them he had saved at 3:30 in the morning while I was sleeping next to him.
And he is still looking at half naked women on Facebook and just leaves that in his fb search history. I think I walked in on him looking at porn today, but I’m not positive. He just was lying in bed with his knees bent all awkward holding his phone and I said what are you doing and he just said nothing baby.
I am tempted to turn his phone off. Idk what to do. He will swear to me he’s not doing anything even after I find that stuff on his phone and when I say something about what I find he will say I’m just digging and if I dig of course I’ll find something.
I’m so tired of the lies. I wish I could catch him in the act red handed and be done with it honestly. And if he’s cheating on me with someone else I pray that girl will message me proof so I can walk away once and for all.
He doesn’t ever want to make love to me anymore. This isn’t the marriage I planned or deserve.
God please change him or remove him from my life sooner rather than later. I’m so tired of being miserable.
