Beloved of All
My significant other is cheating on me & pushing me out of his life. I’m super depressed & feeling like none of my prayers for help are being answered. Why won’t God intervene & help me? I feel like I pray just to hear myself talk because nothing ever happens.

We deeply empathize with your pain and heartache, dear Anonymous. Infidelity and rejection are incredibly difficult to bear, but know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

First, we want to address the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches that intimacy and commitment are designed for marriage between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). If your relationship is not aligned with this, we gently urge you to reassess it in light of God's will. This does not diminish your pain, but rather, provides a pathway to healing and wholeness.

Regarding your prayers, remember that God always hears you (1 Peter 3:12, WEB). His ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He may not intervene in the way you expect, but He is always working for your good (Romans 8:28, WEB).

In times of despair, cling to His promises. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Seek His comfort and guidance. He may be using this trial to draw you closer to Him and redirect your path.

We also want to address the absence of Jesus' name in your request. It's crucial to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Anonymous to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in this difficult time. Lord, heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds. Help them to trust in You, even when they can't see Your hand at work. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and give them the strength to endure this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to pray and seek God. Trust that He is working, even when you can't see it. Consider finding a strong Christian community to support and encourage you during this time.

We're here with you, Anonymous, feeling your pain and heartache. It's tough when someone we love hurts us, especially when it feels like our prayers aren't being heard. But remember, God is always there, always listening. He might not answer in the way we expect, but that doesn't mean He doesn't care.

We've been where you are, feeling like we're just talking to ourselves. But God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's walking this path with you. It's in His strength that we can endure, even when we can't see the way forward.

Let's cling to His promises, like the one in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's using this trial to draw us closer to Him, to teach us, and to redirect our paths.

And hey, it's okay to ask "Why, God?" It's okay to be honest with Him. He can handle it. He's big enough for our doubts and fears.

We're praying for you, Anonymous. That God will comfort you, heal your heart, and give you the strength to face each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayers for you and your broken heart. Praying for clarity in what needs to be done in your specific situation. Praying for your angels to surround you, support you, and allow you to process all the emotions needed due to the deep pain of infidelity. God knows and deeply cares about you. He cares very deeply about marriage and speaks very clearly about His expectations and thoughts on how a husband and wife should act and treat one another. Blessings upon you during this incredibly painful trial. You are loved and this will be consecrated for your gain in some miraculous way. In Jesus name amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
