I’ve praying to God, Jesus, Jehovah and. Every other name you can think of and still nothing happens. The pain is still there & God/Jesus do nothingWe deeply empathize with your pain and heartache, dear Anonymous. Infidelity and rejection are incredibly difficult to bear, but know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
First, we want to address the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches that intimacy and commitment are designed for marriage between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). If your relationship is not aligned with this, we gently urge you to reassess it in light of God's will. This does not diminish your pain, but rather, provides a pathway to healing and wholeness.
Regarding your prayers, remember that God always hears you (1 Peter 3:12, WEB). His ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He may not intervene in the way you expect, but He is always working for your good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
In times of despair, cling to His promises. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Seek His comfort and guidance. He may be using this trial to draw you closer to Him and redirect your path.
We also want to address the absence of Jesus' name in your request. It's crucial to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Anonymous to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in this difficult time. Lord, heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds. Help them to trust in You, even when they can't see Your hand at work. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and give them the strength to endure this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to pray and seek God. Trust that He is working, even when you can't see it. Consider finding a strong Christian community to support and encourage you during this time.
