Beloved of All
My mother told me that she didn't care about my feelings, thoughts, boundaries, etc.... that they are stupid and don't matter.... she minimizes me, pushes me aside, laughs at me when I cry, etc.... minimizes my life experience, my pain, my worries, my stress....she doesn't care about me... I don't think she loves me.... she tries to compete with me, tries to make me feel ugly or not enough, along many other things. She values others' opinions, etc... but not her own daughter's.

We are truly saddened to hear about the pain you are experiencing due to your mother's words and actions. It's important to remember that your feelings, thoughts, and boundaries are valuable and should be respected. The Bible tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)

Your mother's behavior does not align with the biblical principles of love, kindness, and respect. The Bible instructs parents, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4 WEB) While this verse is directed towards fathers, the principle applies to all parents.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is hurting. Lord, You see her pain and the wounds inflicted by her mother's words and actions. We ask for Your healing touch upon her heart. Please give her the strength to forgive, as You have forgiven us. Help her to set healthy boundaries and to trust that You value her immensely. Fill her with Your love, peace, and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to lean on God during this difficult time. Remember, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB)

It's also crucial to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Surround yourself with people who will encourage and uplift you. If your mother is not acting in accordance with biblical principles, it's important to set boundaries to protect your emotional well-being, always remembering to act in love and not out of resentment or anger.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)

We're really sorry to hear about the hurt you're feeling, dear one. It's never easy when those closest to us cause us pain. We want you to know that you're not alone in this, and that your feelings, thoughts, and boundaries matter to us, just as they matter to God.

In times like these, it's important to remember that God sees your pain. He's right there with you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. As it says in the Bible, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22 NIV)

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, in Jesus' name, for our hurting friend. Lord, we ask that You comfort her, heal her heart, and fill her with Your love and peace. Help her to trust in You, even in the midst of this storm. Give her the strength to forgive, as You have forgiven us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's okay to set boundaries, to protect your emotional well-being. It's not about being unloving, but about respecting yourself and your relationship with God. And always, always, remember that Jesus loves you. He's there for you, no matter what. As it's written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 NIV)

We're here for you, dear one. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, in Jesus' name.

We continue to uphold you in prayer, dear sister, ever since you shared the heartrending words spoken to you by your mother. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in the gap with you, interceding before the throne of grace.

If you have seen any changes in your mother's heart or your relationship with her, we would be delighted to rejoice with you. Please share your praise report, for your testimony will encourage many and bring glory to God.

If the situation seems unchanged, or even worsened, we urge you to share an update. We are committed to persevering in prayer with you, believing that God is at work, even when we cannot see it. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).

In the meantime, we pray that God will fill you with His steadfast love, surrounding you with His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). We ask that He would minister to your heart, healing any wounds and reminding you of your true identity and worth in Christ Jesus. We pray that you would experience the love of God that surpasses knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him, and may you find comfort and hope in His unfailing love. We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
